Yes. Isla Tropicale is the current name of the cruise destination formerly known as Mahogany Bay, in Dixon Cove on Roatán’s southern coast, in the Bay Islands of Honduras.

Isla Tropicale tour pickup
From your ship to your local guide.
Meet Roatán Exclusive at the Independent Tour Guide pickup area outside the secured port. Allow approximately 10 minutes to walk from the ship; your pace and docking position can affect the walk.
- Confirm your terminal. Your ship information should say Isla Tropicale or Mahogany Bay.
- Walk through the port village. Follow signs toward the port exit and outside tour area.
- Continue outside the secured port. Follow the route on our map to the Independent Tour Guide pickup area.
- Look for Roatán Exclusive. Find your uniformed guide with our company sign.
We send meeting instructions when you book and again the day before your tour. Use your latest confirmation for the final meeting arrangements.
The map uses the former name, Mahogany Bay. Save it before leaving your ship.
Choose a tour that fits your actual shore time.
Tell us your ship, arrival date and port schedule before choosing a longer route. A 5–6 hour excursion needs room for getting ashore and returning comfortably.
Our plan targets arrival back at port at least 90 minutes before published departure. Your ship’s all-aboard deadline takes priority.

Is West Bay Beach inside the Isla Tropicale port?
No. West Bay is a separate beach destination on Roatán. The wildlife-and-beach and snorkeling-combo tours featured here include round-trip transportation and Paradise Beach Club access at West Bay. Check your chosen tour for the complete itinerary.
Which excursion should I choose for my group?
Choose wildlife and West Bay for park visits, local flavors and beach time. Choose the snorkeling combo if the reef is a priority. Choose a custom tour to select your own activities. Send us your ship schedule and group needs before deciding on the route.
What does “private tour” include?
The featured tours provide a vehicle and guide reserved for your group. The snorkeling combo also includes a private pontoon excursion. Parks and beach clubs remain shared venues. Each tour page explains the activities and services included in its price.
Does the US$38 custom tour include attraction tickets?
The US$38 per-person base rate covers the private tour services described above, with a minimum of two guests. Optional activities are added separately through the booking extras. Review the resulting total before payment. See custom tour details.
Can I hold a sloth during the wildlife visit?
No. Sloths can be observed and photographed without holding or carrying them. Follow the park staff’s instructions throughout the visit.
What happens if my ship changes port or skips Roatán?
