Cruise Ship

Roatan (Bay Islands, Honduras) is a popular destination for cruise ship passengers, with two ports of call available for docking. Roatan is a safe destination for cruise passengers.

The cruise terminals are managed spaces with security in force that only authorized people can enter. Roatan crime rate is very low.

Town Center Roatan Village Port (Coxen Hole Port)

The Town Center at Port of Roatan is one of these ports, boasting a two-pier terminal that can accommodate two cruise ships and up to four tenders at a time, with each tender carrying 400 passengers every 15 minutes. The Coxen Hole Roatan Cruise Port is located in the Town Center of Coxen Hole, the capital of Roatan, which is in the southwestern corner of Roatan.

Coxen Hole Roatan Cruise Port is managed by Royal Caribbean, and around 170 cruise ships call here each year, with several cruise lines usually docking in this port, including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Celebrity Cruises. However, cruise passengers should note that last-minute changes sometimes occur, and the arrival port can change. This is usually due to unfavourable weather or rough waters, so be sure to check on-ship announcements before arrival.

Mahogany Bay Cruise Center

The second port in Roatan is the Mahogany Bay Cruise Center, which opened in 2010, is the newer and larger of the two Roatan cruise ports on the island and is located on the southwestern coast of Roatan, approximately a 10-minute drive east of the island’s capital city, Coxen Hole, about three miles to the east of the Port of Roatan.

This port is home to the Carnival Cruise Line and its subsidiaries, including Princess Cruise Line, Holland America Cruise Line, and P&O Cruise Line. With two convenient ports of call, Roatan is a must-visit destination for any cruise ship traveller.

Explore Roatan

If you are a cruise passenger, you have limited time on the island. Your ship will leave at a certain time and if you miss it, then your vacation is over. You don’t rent cars to explore the island because of this reason. Instead, most people go on tours and excursion.

Our staff will pick up passengers at the port, them help get the most out of your visit and then bring you back to their starting point when it’s time to go home.

When you disembark in Roatan paradise, one of our staff will be waiting and holding a large sign with your name, we will create the best tour experience ever in the Caribbean.
