Helpful answers
Before your Roatán cruise day.
Clear information now means less uncertainty when the ship arrives.
01Which Roatán cruise port will my ship use?
Roatán has two cruise terminals: Port of Roatán in Coxen Hole and Isla Tropicale, formerly Mahogany Bay. Port assignments can change, so your ship app and onboard announcements are the final source. Send us your ship name and arrival date and we will prepare the right instructions.
02Where exactly will I meet my Roatán Exclusive guide?
At Port of Roatán, your uniformed guide waits just outside Exit Gate 1 with a Roatán Exclusive sign. At Isla Tropicale, the meeting point is outside the secured port in the Independent Tour Guide pickup area, about a 10-minute walk from the ship. We send detailed directions when you book and again one day before service.
03What happens if our ship arrives late or changes terminals?
We organize the day around your actual arrival and published departure. If timing or the terminal changes, our team adjusts the pickup and itinerary where possible and sends updated instructions. Keep your phone available and message us as soon as the change is announced.
04Will we return to the ship on time?
Return time is part of the plan from the beginning. Confirmed cruise excursions are designed to return at least 90 minutes before the ship’s published departure. Your ship’s onboard all-aboard time remains the final authority.
05What if our ship cannot dock in Roatán?
If your ship skips Roatán because of weather, an itinerary change or another reason outside your control, Roatán Exclusive provides a full refund, including your deposit.
06Are your shore excursions private?
Yes. Your reservation includes a private vehicle and local bilingual driver-guide for your confirmed group. We do not combine unrelated guests, so your pace and priorities shape the day.
07Can you help families, seniors or guests with limited mobility?
Yes. Many experiences can be adapted for families, seniors and different comfort levels. A folding wheelchair can be arranged at no extra charge with advance notice. Terrain, boats and individual attractions vary, so tell us about mobility needs before booking.
08How do deposits, payments and cancellations work?
You can reserve with a US$50 deposit or pay in full. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance, based on Roatán local time, qualify for a full refund to the original payment method. Your booking confirmation contains the complete terms.
09How can I reach the team on the day of my visit?
Message us on WhatsApp at +504 9299-6921 or call +1 970-763-4404. Our published support hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Roatán local time, every day. English and Spanish support are available.
