Continue through the island's scenic and cultural highlights: take photos at The View, sample chocolate at the chocolate factory, explore West End Village, enjoy a rum tasting and stop at the ROATAN sign.

Your approximately four-hour experience includes private, air-conditioned transportation, a bilingual guide and pickup and return from your cruise port, hotel, resort or Airbnb. Sloths may be observed and photographed, but holding or carrying them is not permitted. Optional activities can be arranged at an additional cost when your schedule allows.

Approximately 4 hours for the base tour. Pickup and pacing are coordinated around your cruise schedule or accommodation. The route is flexible; optional activities may require additional time.

    See sloths, monkeys, macaws and other animals in a respectful wildlife setting. Observe and photograph sloths without holding or carrying them. Other interactions depend on the animals and the park staff's guidance on the day.

    Take in panoramic island scenery and enjoy a stop for photos.

  4. Chocolate factory

    Learn how local chocolate is made and sample chocolate during your visit.

  5. West End Village

    Explore a lively seaside village with shops, local art and Caribbean character.

  6. Rum factory & tasting

    Learn about the rum-making process and taste local blends during your visit.

Is this a private tour?

Your transportation and guide are reserved for your group. Other visitors may be present at the sanctuary, factories and sightseeing stops.

Can I hold or carry a sloth?

No. You can observe and photograph sloths, but holding or carrying them is not permitted. Other animal interactions depend on the animals and the guidance of park staff.

Does the tour include a beach day pass?

No. A beach day pass is an optional add-on at an additional cost. It can be arranged if your schedule allows.

Can the tour fit our cruise schedule?

Pickup, pacing and return are coordinated around your ship's schedule. Share your ship details and tell us about any optional activities you would like before booking.

Are meals and drinks included?

Water, sodas, chocolate samples and rum tasting are included. Meals, additional drinks and personal purchases are paid separately.

Cancellation policyFull refund with at least 24 hours' notice

TERMS and CONDITIONS - LIABILITY WAIVER (Must Read)

I agree to this release of all claims, waiver of liability, and assumption of risk (“Waiver and Release”).

I waive any and all claims I may have now and in the future, and release from all liability and agree not to sue Roatán Exclusive, its agents, representatives, employees, or tour guides [hereafter referred to as “Staff”] for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained by me as a result of my participation in a private tour offered by Roatán Exclusive due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation, negligence on the part of Roatán Exclusive, its Staff, tour partners, or other participants, or death or injury as a result of war, civil unrest, or epidemic.

I further agree that if I violate this agreement and attempt to bring suit against any parties named herein, I will be held responsible for attorney’s fees and any costs incurred by that person in defending such action.

I am aware that the tour, in addition to the usual dangers and risks inherent, has certain additional dangers and risks, some of which include physical exertion for which I may not be prepared and weather extremes subject to sudden and unexpected change.

I accept all the inherent risks of the proposed tour and the possibility of personal injury, death, or property damage or loss resulting therefrom.

I acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of the proposed form of tour is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work, and these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for my participation.

I agree that if I suffer injury or illness, Roatán Exclusive or its Staff can, at my cost, arrange any medical treatment and emergency evacuation service as it or they deem necessary for my health and safety.

Further, I agree at all times during the tour, to abide by and comply with any additional instructions given by my tour guide or any other Staff and I accept that non-compliance may result in injury, death, or permanent disability.

I understand that non-compliance may result in my removal from the tour.

In entering this Waiver and Release, I am not relying on any oral, written, or visual representations or statements by Roatán Exclusive or its Staff or any other inducement or coercion to go on the tour.

I confirm that, by my own free will, I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of this private tour and Waiver and Release and agree that this Waiver and Release will be binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and successors.

As a participant on the tour, I accept full responsibility for my behavior, well-being, and health throughout the tour, which may involve a variety of activities, unfamiliar locations, and modes of travel, including but not limited to swimming, snorkeling, diving, or walking for a longer period than I am used to.

I knowingly and willfully accept these risks and take complete and total responsibility for my behavior, well-being, and health during the tour.

I agree to hold neither Roatán Exclusive, nor its Staff nor the Roatán Exclusive Conservancy or facility liable in any way should any harm come to me.

By purchasing any tour(s), I affirm that I have fully understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions, Waiver and Release of Liability.
